Flexam Toolpath Editor

Understand and change machine code with confidence.

View code and toolpaths together, apply controlled changes and review what changed before export. A focused editor for AM users who already inspect .nc, .gcode, or machine-specific output after slicing, CAM, or post-processing.

Inspect and change additive machine code before export

Link machine-code ranges with visual toolpath regions. Select a local region, review a bounded change and inspect the before-and-after result before exporting a separate modified copy. Supported formats and validation checks are assessed for each workflow.

Capabilities

What it can do.

01 · Inspect

Code and toolpath together

Open generated machine code and inspect it side by side with the toolpath it drives.

02 · Review

Diff and warnings before export

For supported workflows, review the proposed code change and available warnings before exporting a separate modified copy.

03 · Transform

Deterministic local edits

Select a region and define a bounded change. AI may help formulate the edit, while deterministic tools apply the transformation and return the result for review.

Flexam Toolpath Editor is one part of the Flexam Platform: the step after machine code is generated. It works with output from Flexam Slicer, or from your existing slicer, CAM, or post-processor.

Validation status

Controlled access, with explicit limits.

Flexam Toolpath Editor is a controlled-access prototype for additive-manufacturing machine code.

Prototype work has demonstrated linked code and toolpath inspection, local region selection and deterministic transformations on selected files. The current validation gate is one reproducible edit, reviewable diff and non-destructive export on an authorised file family. Broad controller support, collision safety and machine-ready output are not claimed.

One part of the Flexam Platform.

Toolpath Editor works after slicing, CAM or post-processing. Flexam Platform can be configured around the required preparation and inspection steps, while machine-specific execution remains part of the customer workflow.
